Ramesh Loganathan, Managing Director and Vice-President (Products) of Progress Software India, has been elected as the President of ITsAP (IT and ITES Association of Andhra Pradesh). He will succeed V Rajanna, Regional Head of TCS.
The 22nd annual general body meeting of ITsAP, which was held here on Tuesday, elevated him from Vice-President of the association, which has about 300 members representing 95 per cent of the industry by revenue and headcount.
He will hold the post for two years (2014-16). A strong supporter of start-ups, Ramesh has organised several workshops to promote the start-up ecosystem in Hyderabad.
Before joining Progress Software, he worked with Pramati as its Vice-President (Project engineering and middleware technologies) in Hyderabad.
