A common problem faced by many small to medium businesses which operate a fleet of cars is keeping track of their vehicles. Most of the time they have no clue where their cars are. MyCarTracks also allows businesses and companies to record GPS tracks and visualise ‘car tracks' live.

The app allows a car's progress to be tracked in real time. It also lets you track all the cars in a single map, which makes it for an excellent fleet management system.

The app can also be used by companies that deliver consignments to check the position of the delivery truck and use the information to respond to queries about delay in deliveries.

And just because the app is called MyCarTracks, it doesn't mean it can track only car drivers. A pizza outlet can use the app to track the location of their delivery personnel.

Details of the vehicles have to be created on one ‘master' Android phone and can be shared among the drivers.

The only catch is that all the drivers must have Android phones (the app is compatible with Android 2.1 or higher) and the all the phones must be connected to GPS.
