Puneet Dhawan of Accor is brimming with ideas on ways to revive the hospitality sector
SAP, a market leader in enterprise application software, on Wednesday unveiled the 4.0 releases of Unified Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions from its SAP Business Objective Portfolio.
“The new offerings help reduce the IT landscape complexity and speed deployment times by integrating BI and EIM environment”, SAP Asia Pacific Japan Senior Vice-President Solutions Mr Simon Dale told reporters here.
The features of the new offerings include in-memory computing, instant powerful BI in users’ hands, with more mobile devices support. It combines structured and unstructured information and provides the tools to govern the information.
The releases could also help easily scale to serve all departments as it provides flexible deployment options that leverage the latest 64-bit advances, virtualisation and cloud methods and provides intuitive system monitoring, alerting and auditing, he said.
Historically, companies have dealt with BI on a project-by-project basis, separate from each other and their EIM initiatives, lacking in ability to bring data together.
The latest BI and EIM solutions from SAP are designed to help tackle big data, integrating structured and unstructured data and even information from social networks.
