O.C. Tanner, an employee recognition and engagement services company, has expanded its operations in the country by establishing a specialised software development team in Hyderabad on Thursday.
“The Hyderabad development team will be providing support to the global team in professional service engineering for large enterprise clients, development of Android mobile apps and test engineering support for existing customer applications,” said Niel Nickolaisen, Chief Technology Officer of OC Tanner.
The company, which currently has 18 employees in Hyderabad, is planning to hire 36 more for the centre, next year.
The firm entered the Indian market in 2014 to design and help implement global employee rewards and recognition solutions for its clients.
“O.C. Tanner has identified Hyderabad in addition to its US headquarters as one of the world’s leading locations for hiring strong engineering talents,” a company statement said.
“With the introduction of the specialised team in India, the company will be able to customise solutions, making it simple to implement solutions for their customers in India,” the firm added.
