Subex, a provider of operations and business support systems for communications service providers, has bagged a $12-million license contract from a mobile operator group in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) to implement its RCO (Revenue Operations Centre) platform for fraud management and revenue assurance. The project will be executed over the next 16-18 months. The scope of the contract is expected to be expanded resulting in the contract value going up to $20 million.
The telco, with operations in several countries, will implement the ROC platform in all the networks. This is the largest ROC contract the company has won till date, said a company release. ROC Fraud Management is built to help communication service providers eliminate known frauds, reduce free run time and augment internal controls. ROC Revenue Assurance is designed to detect potential revenue loss and assist an operator with investigation, diagnosis and recovery of revenues.
