Suvarna Technosoft, a hospital information management system (HIMS) solutions firm, has acquired laboratory information management solutions firm MedPrecinct Solutions for an undisclosed amount.
“Through this acquisition, we get access to over 200 laboratories that the target company services,” T Suresh, MD, Suvarna Technosoft, told BusinessLine .
The 16-year-old firm, which has over 300 clients, registered a turnover of ₹15 crore in 2018-19, while the target firm recorded a turnover of ₹2.5 crore.
With 160 employees, Suvarna Technosoft offers solutions and services catering to different aspects of hospital administration.
“We are planning to expand our SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform to about 1,000 small- and medium-sized laboratories in the country, besides tapping the Caribbean, the Gulf, Africa and South-East Asian markets,” he said.
