Tata DoCoMo Business Services focuses on Kerala SME sector

Tata DoCoMo Business Services (TDBS) is focusing on Kerala’s SME sector with special emphasis on digital transformation of traditional brick and mortar companies across industry verticals.

Joyjeet Bose, Vice President, SME Operation, South, Tata Teleservices said that Kerala is a key market registering a 17 per cent growth in 2015-16 vis-à-vis 6-7 per cent industry growth in the SME segment last year. The company has been focusing business across segments in the region including IT, BFSI, Textile, Tourism, Transportation, Healthcare etc.

According to him, SMEs in Kerala are progressively adopting ICT solutions for business requirements and the government is also actively promoting Incubation and startup ecosystem very successfully. However, these SMEs / Startups are seeking affordable ICT solutions that can help in business expansion, achieve operational efficiencies, and garner better return-on-investment.

TDBS as an integrated technology specialist will offer end-to-end ICT solutions to meet the SME business requirement. The services offered included both broad application and generic voice and data solutions and verticalised solutions across several segments such as BFSI, Healthcare E-Commerce, Transportation & Logistics, IT & ITES, Manufacturing, Government, Services and Retail, he said.
