Fintech start-up Razorpay has opened 200 new positions to ramp up its technology and sales teams and is looking to close fiscal 2019 with 350 people.

The start-up, which provides tech payment solutions to 85,000 Indian businesses, has launched an outdoor hiring campaign targeting those with over three years of experience in the roles of product designers, back-end and front-end developers, mobile developers, engineering managers and sales leads.

‘Un-Cramp your Career’

Razorpay’s ‘Un-Cramp your Career’ hiring campaign, launched a few weeks ago, has been attracting 350 resumes a day compared with 150 prior to the launch. The campaign, which will run until May 28, targets top tech hubs/parks with outdoor deployment along with marketing on digital and social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

“We are building our league of next-gen tech payment solutions to help simplify payments for businesses and aim to scale these solutions to new sectors and industries pan India. To support this growth, we are making quality additions to our team and will continue to create an environment for people to up-skill, get ahead and develop successful careers at Razorpay,” Harshil Mathur, co-founder and CEO, Razorpay, told BusinessLine .

Stating that the ‘Un-Cramp’ campaign is not about salary hikes, Anuradha Bharat, Head – People Operations, said: “It is about growing their careers and creating an impact on themselves, their team members and the organisation by learning and exploring their strengths and taking on new vertical and horizontal challenges.”
