TVS Electronics Ltd is expanding its product business with plans to enter into agreements and business arrangements with mobile manufacturing companies or wholesale distributors. This is for order fulfilment services whenever such opportunities arise.
While these services could enhance revenues substantially, net margins on such activities are expected to be very thin. Such opportunity provides good collateral business benefits for repair and warranty management services for these products in the medium to long term, the company said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The Chennai-based company manufactures Dot Matrix Printer and provides sale and services of Point of Sale products. It also provides Warranty and Repair Management Services to major brand owners in information technology, banking and mobile communications segments.
