US-based ERP and e-commerce company Apolis has signed a lease agreement to set up its global delivery centre at Technopark here.

Ranjith Varma, President, Apolis, and Hrishikesh Nair, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Technopark, signed the document in the presence of Sivaprasad Pillai, Vice-President, India Operations & Offshore Delivery, Apolis, and Technopark officials.

The company has taken up 6,000-sq ft space in Nila Building in Technopark Phase 1. With the addition of the the Thiruvananthapuram centre, Apolis is all set to double its current global workforce of 500 by 2020.

In India, the company had set up operations in 2003 in Gurgaon and Delhi and later expanded to Hyderabad and Chennai, a company spokesman said.

Co-founded by US entrepreneurs Amar Shokeen and Rita Shokeen in 1996, the company specialises in ERP services around Oracle and SAP suite of products.

The spokesman said that the company’s clients include marquee names in the automotive, manufacturing, distribution and logistics as well as retail and consumer packaged goods domains.

The Thiruvananthapuram centre will deliver a transformative and world class experience for its global customer base by establishing a cognitive practice and power its ERP service offering, he added.

“Our global delivery centre at Thiruvananthapuram is part of our preparations to win with great talent and a fantastic location”, said Amar Shokeen, CEO, Apolis.

Ranjith Varma said that the Technopark facility would be a critical milestone in the company's growth journey. Establishing an experience-driven development centre is the foundation for growth at scale.

"Our global customers and next-generation talent require modern facilities and secured infrastructure to deliver world class services. Technopark facilitate this," Varma said.
