Xiaomi said it has reduced prices of three of its television models by up to ₹2,000. Xiaomi said in a statement that the decision was driven by the government’s positive decision to reduce GST on TVs (up to 32-inch display) from 28 per cent to 18 per cent, as well as Xiaomi’s philosophy of keeping its profit margin for hardware products at five per cent.
