Facebook will host Prime Minister Narendra Modi at its headquarters at Menlo Park, California, later this month. Modi and Facebook CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg will also participate in a town hall on Sunday, September 27.

“Prime Minister Modi and I will discuss how communities can work together to address social and economic challenges,” Zuckerberg said in his post announcing the town hall.

Zuckerberg had met Modi last October during his India visit.

While the Facebook Founder had expressed his interest in participating in the Digital India campaign, Modi requested Zuckerberg to identify areas where social media can help promote India’s tourism potential. According to media reports, Modi arrives in New York on September 23, where he will attend the UN General Assembly and the launch of the Sustainable Millennium Goals.

The Prime Minister will leave for Silicon Valley on September 26, where he is slated to meet besides Zuckerberg, Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Cisco chief Chuck Robbins, among others.

He is also scheduled to visit a facility of electric sedan manufacturer Tesla.
