Stock market regulator SEBI has done away with the requirement of 20 per cent representation of trading members in the arbitration committee/panel of stock exchanges.
In a circular on Friday, SEBI said henceforth these committees will not consist of any trading members.
The circular comes into effect immediately and exchanges have to communicate the implementation status of this circular in their monthly report to SEBI.
