ICICI Securities has launched an online tutorial platform called Webetorial, a financial learning programme though which retail investors can gain an understanding about investing and trading in the stock market. These webetorials can be accessed by anyone who registers for them on the Internet.
There are two kinds of programmes that ICICIdirect offers – premium programmes and free knowledge programmes. “The premium programmes are detailed programmes and participants have to pay for these. The Webetorial has some interactive features like “raise your hand” and “chat queries”,” said Mr Vineet Arora, Executive Vice President, ICICIdirect. The premium programme costs Rs 1800 for four sessions of two hours each and a web demonstration session of one hour.
ICICIdirect also offers classroom learning programmes on a regular basis..
