Muthoot Finance Ltd has allocated 77.25 lakh equity shares, aggregating Rs 131.33 crore, to 15 anchor investors who had applied to the issue.
The anchor investors bought each share for Rs 170.
Muthoot Finance is to enter the capital markets on April 18 at a price band of Rs 160-175 an equity share. Baring India has been allocated 16.94 per cent — the largest chunk of shares among the anchor investors — Credit Suisse Singapore got 11.98 per cent, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority was allocated 10.10 per cent, Goldman Sachs India Fund Ltd was given 9.09 per cent, Swiss Finance Corporation Mauritius got 8.47 per cent and Birla Sun Life Trustee Company was allocated 7.48 per cent. The anchor investor issue was oversubscribed 3.5 times, market sources said.
Earlier, the company had placed 7 per cent of its equity with four financial institutions through private placements.
