Sun TV Network stock reacted immediately to the arrest news. The stock, which was hovering around Rs 396 level on the BSE, slipped to Rs 389 immediately after the news broke out with higher volumes. The scrip closed at Rs 386.35, down Rs 12.05 or 3 per cent over Thursday's close. Sun TV in a notice to the exchanges in February denied that its promoters had any stake in or association/transaction with Kalaignar TV.

However, scam-tainted telecom stocks, whose officials were arrested earlier on the same 2G case, did not react much to the arrest news. While RCom edged up marginally, Unitech and DB Realty closed a tad lower.
