The US markets were flat in the morning trading session. Analysts said the Fed policy meeting results due later in the day lead to the flat trade in the morning.
Dow Jones industrial average moved up by 84.55 points at 16,214.95. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was trading up by 5.24 points at 1,846.00. But the Nasdaq Composite Index was down 0.02 points at 4,272.77.
