The board of directors of Avanti Feeds has recommended a dividend of ₹6 an equity share of ₹1 each for financial year 2017-18. It also recommended issuance of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:2.
The firm posted a total income of ₹849.38 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2018, against ₹681.56 crore in the comparable quarter of the previous year.
Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹86 crore (₹88.73 crore).
For the fiscal 2017-18, it registered a total income of ₹3,441 crore, against ₹2,639 crore in the previous year. Net profit for the year was ₹466.47 crore (₹226.3 crore).
The extraordinary general meeting of the company will be held on June 14 and the AGM on August 7.
