BSE Institute, a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE Ltd, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) to set up a center of excellence for financial education.
The MoU was signed at the CII Global Skill Summit here on Thursday. The primary focus of the initiative will be on training youth in skills required for the capital markets and finance sector.
``The state of Telangana has been a source of skilled professionals, who are employed not only in various parts of India, but also all over the world,’’ Ambarish Datta, Managing Director and CEO of BSE Institute said in a release.
The collaboration with the TASK will help to create a global talent pool for the BFSI industry, he added.
Sujiv Nair, CEO, said the MoU was a joint effort to skill and certify graduates in the BFSI sector and to introduce courses that will match global standards in the domain.
