Caustic soda prices declined up to Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital on Saturday on stockists selling, coupled with reduced offtake by consuming industries amid adequate supplies.
Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the prices.
Caustic soda flake declined up to Rs 100 to Rs 1,100—1,200 per 50 kg.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries, against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down caustic soda prices.
