Chana prices drifted by Rs 14 to Rs 2,471 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday, as speculators took to profit booking at the existing higher levels, amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, chana for January delivery fell by Rs 14, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 2,471 per quintal, with an open interest of just one lot.
They said subdued demand at prevailing higher levels also influenced the trading sentiment.
