Copper remained in demand and added Rs 2 a kg in the local non-ferrous metal market on Saturday on pick-up in demand.
Traders said pick-up in industrial demand led to the rise in copper prices.
In the national capital, copper wire scrap, copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap remained in demand and advanced by Rs 2 each to Rs 528, Rs 551 and Rs 512 a kg, respectively.

Lead ingot 143, lead imported 145, aluminium ingots 104, sheet cutting 105, aluminium wire scrap 105 and aluminium utensils scrap 102.
