Spot rubber declined on Wednesday on the absence of genuine buyers and weak global cues. Sheet rubber dropped to ₹144 (₹144.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade was steady at ₹145 and ₹142 respectively. July futures weakened to ₹143.55 (₹145.50), August to ₹143.35 (₹145.93)on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹123.39 (₹126.10) at Bangkok. July futures closed at ¥202 (₹118.78) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 144 (144.50); RSS-5: 138 (139); Ungraded: 133 (134); ISNR 20: 129 (130) and Latex 60%: 119 (120).
