Gold futures prices fell by 0.30 per cent to Rs 21,066 per 10 grams today amid weak overseas trend and profit-booking by speculators.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in April fell by Rs 63 or 0.30 per cent to Rs 21,066 per 10 grams, with a business volume of three lots.
The metal for delivery in June contract also declined by Rs 62 or 0.29 per cent to Rs 21,372 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of just one lot.
Analysts said apart from profit-booking at record levels by speculators, weak trend in global market also weighed on the gold futures prices here. Meanwhile, gold traded lower by $1.70 to $1,431.10 an ounce in New York.
