Groundnut oil remained unchanged as demand decreased at the higher level. Similar trend was seen in cotton oil also. Traders said that since last one week, groundnut oil price increased due to shortage of raw material amid festival demand.
Groundnut oil loose stood at ₹800-805 for 10 kg, Jamnagar line teliya was ₹1,247-48 per 15 kg. Groundnut oil new tin was unchanged at ₹1,395-1,400 per 15 kg. About 5-8 tankers of groundnut oil were traded from Saurashtra’s oil mills. Washed cotton oil was ₹615-618 per 10 kg and new tin stood at ₹1,080-1,100 per 15 kg. About 35-40 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
