The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended on a steady note today as gur prices moved in a narrow range and settled around the previous levels.
Market analysts said lack of worthwhile buying activity mainly kept the prices steady.
Following are the quotations in Rs per quintal:
Chakku 2,250-2,300, pedi 2,300-2,350, Dhayya 2,300-2,350 and Shakkar 2,500-2,550.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 1,800-1,900, chakku 2,050-2,250 and Khurpa 2,000-2,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,100-2,125 and Dhaya 2,100-2,150.
