Lethargic conditions developed at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as the prices maintained its overnight closing levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also ruled steady in thin trade.
Market analysts said ample stocks against scattered buying activities largely kept prices unchanged.
Following are the quotations in Rs per quintal:
Chakku 2,350-2,400, Pedi 2,550-2,600, Dhayya 2,650-2,700 and Shakkar 2,700-2,800.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 1,900-2,000, Chakku 2,050-2,250 and Khurpa 2,100-2,150.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,250-2,350 and Dhaya 2,500-2,550.
