Weak conditions developed at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and ended at the previous levels.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended flat on some support.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position against limited buying support mainly kept gur prices steady.

Following were the quotations in Rs per quintal:

Chakku: 2,200-2,250, pedi 2,200-2,250, Dhayya 2,250-2,300 and Shakkar 2,400-2,450.

Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 1,750-1,850, chakku 2,000-2,200 and Khurpa 1,950-2,000.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,000-2,050 and Dhaya 2,000-2,050.
