Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 a kg in the national capital on Thursday due to reduced industrial offtake.
Elsewhere, other chemicals traded in a narrow range on restricted buying and settled around previous levels. Traders said reduced industrial offtake against adequate stocks mainly helped menthol prices to soften.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices traded lower by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,350, Rs 1,310 and Rs 1,260 a kg, respectively.
