Moong and malka prices eased by up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market on Saturday on reduced offtake by stockists on subdued demand from retailers.

Market analysts said adequate stocks against subdued demand at prevailing levels mainly led to fall in moong and malka prices.

In the national capital, moong shed Rs 50 and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 100 to Rs 3,950—4,950 and Rs 4,900—5,300, respectively.

Moong dal dhoya local and best quality also traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,200—5,400 and Rs 5,800—6,000 per quintal, respectively.

Similarly, malka local and best quality declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,350—3,400 and Rs 3,500—3,600 per quintal, respectively.
