A national seminar on Metals Outlook and Market Trends 2011 will be held here on April 15.
The event will feature prominent speakers covering a host of topics including global outlook on commodities, outlook for base metals and precious metals, steel sector dilemma and delivery-based forward contracts in metals.
Supported by a number of industry organisations, the day-long seminar will have domain experts from corporate sector, commodity exchanges and broking houses share their knowledge.
According to the event organiser Ms Bina Verma, there is not only huge economic interest in the metals sector, but also that metals, especially precious metals such as gold and silver, have become an asset class. India is emerging as a large consumer of various industrial and base metals following rapid expansion of infrastructure projects.
