Lethargic conditions persisted on the local plastic market on Saturday as polymers continued to move in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile support from plastic moulding units and settled around previous levels.
Traders said lack of worthwhile activity by plastic moulding units due to sluggish demand, mainly kept polymer prices unaltered.
Following were quotations in rupees a kg: LD No 40 - 101.00, LD No 400 - 101.50 LLDP blowing 86, colour 75 HD Blowing 74, HD moulding (deshi) 87, PP No 100 - 82, PP Colour 103, ABS (Indian) 100, acrylic 110-120 colour 120-125, crystal (Indian) 70, colour 82, poly carbonate 170-178, Nylon No-6 206-216, Nylon No 66 – 240-250, PVC resin deshi 58, PVC pest grade 90.
