There was not much activity in the wholesale pulses market today with prices moving in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept pulses unaltered.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal: Urad 3,300-3,700, Urad Chilka (local) 4,400-4,750, best 4,800-5,300, Dhoya 5,300-5,500, Moong 4,800-5,200, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,300-5,700, Moong Dhoya local 5,500-5,600 and best quality 6,150-6,250.
Masoor small 4,100-4,300, bold 4,250-4,350, Dal Masoor local 4,800-4,900, best quality 4,850-4,950, Malka local 4,700-4,800, best 4,900-5,000, Moth 3,000-3,600, Arhar 3,900-4,300, Dal Arhar Dara 5,600-5,800.
Gram 2,700-3,350, Gram Dal (local) 3,100-3,200, best quality 3,200-3,300, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,490, Rajdhani 1,490, Rajmah Chitra 8,500-10,100, Kabli Gram small 3,300-5,300, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 4,000-5,100, Peas white 2,925-2,950 and green 3,025-3,175.
