Refined soya oil prices shed Rs 9.30 to Rs 615.90 per 10 kg at the futures trade today as traders indulged in profit-booking at higher levels influenced by low demand at the spot market.
Also, a weakening trend in the overseas markets put pressure on the oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in April fell by Rs 9.30 or 1.48 per cent to Rs 615.90 per 10 kg with a business volume of eight lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in refined soya oil futures prices to profit-booking by speculators at existing higher levels.
