Rubber market firmed up further on Saturday. In spot, sheet rubber improved to Rs 167 (165.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade increased to Rs 166.50 (165.50) a kg, according to Rubber Board.
In futures, the April series improved to Rs 168.76 (167.40), May to Rs 171.95 (170.54), June to Rs 172.95 (171.59) and August to Rs 173 (171.48) a kg while the June series remained inactive on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
Spot rubber rates (Rs/kg ): RSS-4: 167 (165. 50); RSS-5: 164 (163); Ungraded: 162 (160); ISNR 20: 161.50 (161) and Latex 60 per cent: 111 (111).
