Saria strengthened at the wholesale steel market today on increased offtake by stockists to meet the increased demand, driven by an upswing in constructions. Other steels, however, after trading in a tight range settled at the previous levels.
In the saria segment, kamdhenu 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and 16-25 mm traded higher by Rs 200 each at Rs 43,700, Rs 43,000, Rs 42,300 and Rs 42,500 per tonne, respectively.
