Prices of tur dal and moong dal went up, while urad dal and maida moved down, but all other commodities ruled steady at the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Moong dal went up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,900, while tur dal increased by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,000 from Rs 5,900. Urad dal decreased by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,400 and maida (90 kg) edged down by Rs 50 to Rs 1,650.
In contrast, gram dal, sugar, wheat and sooji prices remained unaltered.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise: Tur dal 6,000, urad dal 6,400, moong dal 6,900, gram dal 2,800, sugar 2,700, wheat 1,800, maida (90 kg) 1,650 and sooji (90 kg) 1,800.
