The edible oils market was mixed on Tuesday. Groundnut, cotton and soyabean refined oils increased by ₹5, ₹3 and ₹2, respectively, for 10 kg each. Rapeseed oil declined by ₹1. sunflower and palmolein remained unchanged. Sources said that stockists stayed away from fresh bets tracking weak overseas futures.
Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹570, super palmolein ₹590 and soyabean refined oil ₹642. Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹568, soyabean refined oil ₹635 and sunflower refined oil ₹632 . Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹568, soyabean refined oil ₹636 and sunflower refined oil ₹637.
In Saurashtra, groundnut telia tin was up ₹10 to ₹1,240 and loose (10 kg) ₹790 (₹785).
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 790 (785), soya refined oil 642 (640), sunflower exp. ref. 580 (580), sunflower ref. 648 (645), rapeseed ref. oil 725 (726), rapeseed expeller ref. 695 (696) cottonseed ref. oil 658 (655) and palmolein 570 (570).
