Prices of sgar, maida and sooji declined, while those of all other major commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Sugar prices moved down to Rs 2,700 from Rs 2,750. Likewise, maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) shed Rs 50 each to Rs 1,700 and Rs 1,800 from yesterday’s rate of Rs 1,750 and Rs 1,850, respectively.
Following are today’s wholesale rates per quintal: Thoor dal Rs 6,600, urad dal Rs 6,600, moong dal Rs 7,000, gram dal Rs 2,900, sugar Rs 2,700, wheat Rs 1,900, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,700 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,800.
