Sugar prices hovered around previous levels in the national capital today on restricted buying against sufficient stocks position.
Market analysts said restricted buying against adequate stocks position kept sugar prices unaltered.
Buying activity declined as most traders were in a festive mood due to Holi festival, they added.
Following were today’s quotation in Rs per quintal.
Sugar ready M—30 2,950—3,075 and S—30 2,935—3,050.
Mill delivery M—30 2,740—2,890 and S—30 2,725—2,850.
Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,885, Asmoli 2,875, Mawana 2,850, Titabi 2,840, Thanabhavan 2,790, Budhana 2785 and Dorala 2,835.
