Prices of tur dal, urad dal and sooji declined, while prices of all the other major commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Tur dal and urad dal prices fell by Rs 100 to Rs 5,900 and Rs 6,500 a quintal from the previous rates of Rs 6,000 and Rs 6,600, respectively.
Similarly, sooji declined by Rs 50 to Rs 1,800 a quintal from the previous rate of Rs 1,850.
The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): tur dal Rs 5,900, urad dal Rs 6,500, moong dal Rs 6,700, gram dal Rs 2,800, sugar Rs 2,700, wheat Rs 1,800, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,700 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,800.
