Prices of urad dal, moong dal and sooji went up, while other commodity rates ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad and moong dal prices increased by Rs 200 to Rs 6,600 and Rs 6,200 per quintal, respectively, from their previous rates of Rs 6,400 and Rs 6,000.
In a similar fashion, sooji prices rose by Rs 150 (per 90 kg) to Rs 1,900 from its earlier rate of Rs 1,750.
The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Tur dal Rs 5,700, urad dal Rs 6,600, moong dal Rs 6,200, gram dal Rs 4,000, sugar Rs 2,850, wheat Rs 1,750, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,700, sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,900.
