Weak global cues and slack demand in soya oil and meal dragged prices of both soya oil and soyabean in Indore mandis with soya refined declining to ₹610-15 for 10kg (₹615-20), while soya solvent slipped to ₹590-95 (₹595-600). Apprehension of weak monsoon has prompted stockists and farmers to hold up soyabean stock, leading to decline in its arrival. In eventuality of delayed monsoon, bearish sentiment in soya oil appears unlikely in the coming days. Soyabean also traded low despite its arrival slipping to 45,000-50,000 bags. Soyabean prices in mandis across Madhya Pradesh declined to ₹3,600-3,700 a quintal (down ₹200 from last week). Plant deliveries were at ₹3,775-3,800 a quintal (₹3,950-4,000), while soyameal was at ₹34,500 a quintal (down ₹1,000).
