Edible oils ruled steady as stockists continued to have fresh commitments to fulfil festival demand. Sources said despite increasing pressure of new arrivals in producing centres, traders continued to place fresh buys. Liberty’s rates: palmolein ₹585, super palmolein ₹630 and soyabean refined oil ₹680. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹588. At Rajkot, groundnut oil was firm with telia tin at ₹1,390 and loose (10 kg) at ₹875. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 960 (960), soya ref. 670 (670), sunflower ref. 730 (725), rapeseed ref. 850 (860), cottonseed ref. 710 (715) and palmolein 582 (582).
