Despite weak physical demand, soya oil traded higher on strong global cues with soya refined being quoted at ₹668-70 per 10 kg (up ₹5 from last), while soya solvent ruled at ₹635-40 for 10 kg. Amid subdued demand, soyabean ruled stable at ₹2,800-50 a quintal, while plant deliveries were quoted at ₹2,825-50.
In futures, however, soyabean traded lower on weak buying with its November and December contracts on the NCDEX closing at ₹2,859 (down ₹40) and ₹2,915 (down ₹42) respectively. Amid slack domestic demand, soyameal ruled at ₹21,500-22,000 a quintal.
