Chana continued to trade lower amid weak physical demand for pulses and a rise in selling pressure of government stock with chana (kanta) declining to ₹4,200-4,250 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹4,150 and chana (vishal) at ₹4,100 a quintal. Chana dal (average) quoted at ₹5,200-5,300, chana dal (medium) at ₹5,400-5,500, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,600-₹5,700 . In the container segment, dollar chana (42/44 count) ruled at ₹6,650 a quintal, while dollar chana (44/46 count) fetched ₹6,400.
