Edible oils market witnessed a weak trend on Monday tracking bearish futures amid limited physical demand. Local refineries kept their rates steady. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut oil rose by ₹10 while palmolein declined by ₹1 for 10 kg each. Vikram Global Commodities quoted ₹545 for Malaysian super palm June delivery. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹511 JNPT, super palmolein ₹537 and soyabean refined oil ₹595. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹507, soyabean refined oil ₹590, sunflower refined oil ₹690. Allana traded palmolein for ₹509, super palmolein ₹537, soyabean refined oil ₹592 and sunflower oil ₹695. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin ruled steady at ₹1,560 and loose (10 kg) at ₹1,000.
