Cotton prices marginally decreased on slow buying from domestic mills in Gujarat. Kapas or raw cotton too was down as ginning demand was limited. Gujarat Sankar-6 cotton was down ₹100 to ₹30,200-700 per candy of 356 kg. About 45,000-50,000 bales (of 170 kg) arrived in Gujarat and 2 lakh bales arrived in India. Kapas lost ₹5-10 to ₹770-798 for a maund of 20 kg in Saurashtra and gin delivery kapas was at ₹800-810Around 250 trucks from Maharashtra arrived and went for ₹750-810.
