Downtrend continued in pepper trade on Wednesday on selling pressure amid slack domestic demand. Arrivals on the spot rose to 50 tonnes and 52 tonnes were traded. Indian export price was $8,600 c&f for Europe and $8,850 a tonne c&f for the US.Spot prices fell by ₹400 to ₹50,600 (ungarbled) and ₹52,600 (garbled) a quintal.
