The downtrend in soy oil continued amid weak global cues and physical demand with soy refined declining to ₹740-42 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at ₹705-10. Weak demand in soy oil and soy DOC dragged soybean to ₹ 3,700, while plant deliveries of soybean were quoted at ₹3,750 a quintal. In the futures segment, however, soybean quoted higher with its May and June contracts on the NCDEX closing at ₹3,634 and ₹3,684 . Soy DOC traded low at ₹30,500 a tonne on weak domestic demand.
